Limited edition color 35 x 23.75 print by Horace Panter entitled 'Teen Spirit,' numbered 4/25, depicting side "A" of a large cassette that contains "Mix 2" of Nirvana's "Teen Spirit," with Sound City Studio address above and heart with arrow to lower left, signed and titled in the lower border in pencil by the artist. Also includes a 12″ picture disc of the Rancid album Life Won't Wait, signed in black felt tip by Tim Armstrong and in silver ink by Panter. In overall fine condition. Panter is the longtime bass player for the English 2 Tone and ska revival band The Specials, whose art has been exhibited throughout the UK. Consignor notes that the album was signed at the 6th Annual Rock and Roll Carnival, held at Los Angeles' Hancock Park on October 1, 2016. A highly appealing piece connecting the iconic imagery of Pop Art with the grunge of Kurt Cobain and Nirvana.
