TLS, one page, 7 x 9.25, personal letterhead, November 2, 1962. Letter to General W. A. Danielson, in full: "I appreciate your thoughtfulness in writing your views of the current situation. Although polls indicated Republican gains on the sixth, the situation is now confused and no one can predict the outcome of the elections—at least I cannot. I am however, still hopeful that the American people will use their common sense and wisdom in casting their ballots in this crucial election. Please give my regard to Clyde Beck when next you see him, and best wishes to you." In very good condition, with old tape on the reverse showing through along the edges, and a block of toning from prior display.
