Initially a freelance photographer whose work adorned the covers of publications like Life, Vanity Fair, Sports Illustrated, and Time, Schapiro migrated to film set photography in the early 1970s and was hired as a photographer by Paramount Pictures. Many of his images have been used for the posters and ad campaigns for such classic films as Midnight Cowboy, Taxi Driver, and The Way We Were, in addition to The Godfather films. No longer in print, this lavishly bound tome represents a quintessential visual guide to Francis Ford Coppola's masterful crime trilogy.
