Rare vintage circa 1964 matte-finish 10 x 8 Decca Records promotional photo of The Rolling Stones, signed in black ballpoint, "Keith Richard," "Mick Jagger," "Brian Jones," "Bill Wyman," and "Charlie Boy." Reverse bears a pair of Decca Record Co. copyright stamps. In very good to fine condition, with creasing, primarily to the right side, and poor contrast to Watts' very light signature. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Tracks. Minus the background, this features the same image used for the cover of the band’s self-titled debut EP, which Decca released in January 1964 to test the commercial appeal of the Rolling Stones before they would commit to producing a full album. While signed Decca promo cards of the Stones can on occasion be found for auction, fully signed Decca photos of the band remain incredibly rare and sought-after—the first such example we have ever offered.
