Northwest Africa (NWA) 11081 eucrite (stone) meteorite slice, a very rare type thought to be from Asteroid Vesta. The full polished slice weighs 17.2 grams and measures approximately 87 mm x 35 mm x 2 mm. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Geoff Notkin of Aerolite Meteorites Inc. and the TV show Meteorite Men. The moon, Mars, and Vesta are, so far, the only specific points of origin we have for meteorites—we know that most come from the asteroid belt, but only Vesta has been specifically identified as a parent body.
