Fantastic ALS in French, signed “Rodin,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4 x 6.25, no date. Gracious letter thanking his correspondent for visiting his studio and expressing so much pleasure at seeing his sculptures, in part (translated): "You are an artist in every sense and you love sculpture as though you were a sculptor yourself." In very good to fine condition, with a rusty paperclip impression to the first page, and light overall toning to the second page. Originally sold by Walter R. Benjamin Autographs, and accompanied by the invoice and paper folder.
