ALS signed “Henry,” one page, 8.5 x 11, March 21, 1951. Letter to "Jim and Marian," in part: "You must forgive me for overlooking you about those records. I did forget. But am writing to-day to the Barrows to send you the complete set. Good to hear my voice sounds young. I'm sick of it—sounds 'monotonous' to me. Must try some improvisations rather than readings. Things are getting tighter & tighter. Earned $425 last year from all N.D. sales. Hope you are getting along better. I finished two books recently—pooped now." In fine condition. Up to this point, Miller had published several works through New Directions, including The Cosmological Eye, The Wisdom of the Heart, Sunday After the War, The Air-Conditioned Nightmare, Why Abstract?, and Remember to Remember.
