Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 portrait of Ray Milland leaning on an elbow and wearing a handsome suit and tie, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “To Oscar, The ‘King of Kings,’ Ray Milland.” In very good to fine condition, with border wear including creases, tears, and pin holes, and a bit of spotting to background.
Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 MGM publicity portrait of Walter Huston by William Grimes, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To Bill, good luck my lad and success, Walter Huston.” Reverse bears a MGM-Grimes photography stamp. In fine condition, with an irregularly trimmed lower left corner. Huston (1884-1950) won an Academy Award for his role in The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, directed by his son, John.
Vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 publicity portrait of Gig Young, signed and inscribed in fountain pen, “Good luck, Jerry, Gig Young.” Reverse bears a Welbourne-Warner Bros. copyright stamp. In fine condition. Young (1913-1978) won the 1969 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his memorable role in They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?
