Prince's own backstage pass for the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards at the Universal Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on September 5, 1991, 4 x 2.5, marked "Prince" in black felt tip, reading, "Talent, All Access, Universal Amphitheatre 1991, Does Not Entitle Bearer to Theatre Seat." In fine condition, with a tiny punch hole to the upper left corner. From the collection of Prince's assistant tour manager Gwen Leeds and accompanied by a letter of provenance. Prince was responsible for perhaps the most memorable moment of the night with his hyper-sexualized performance of 'Gett Off' with The New Power Generation, in which he came out in a yellow 'assless' jumpsuit.
