Mailing envelope embossed on the flap with a Colonial Office seal, 5 x 4.25, addressed in another hand to "D. J. Wintle, Esq: Carmelite House, Carmelite St., E. C.," and signed in the lower left corner in bold ink, "W. S. Churchill." Postmarked at London, November 5, 1906, at which time Churchill was serving as Undersecretary of State for the Colonies. Neatly double-matted and framed with a small portrait to an overall size of 8.75 x 12, with a window in the backing for viewing the reverse. In fine condition.
