Belknap,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, personal monogrammed letterhead, January 13, 1873. Letter to "Dear General," in part: "As the notice of the trip of the Cadets to Wash'n has been noticed in the Herald, I have deemed best to write you the enclosed letter, so that you can make the announcement to the Corps." In fine condition.
