AMQS on an off-white 6 x 4 card, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip, "To Brian + Melissa, Best, Marvin Hamlisch," with Hamlisch penning two bars of music from a Scott Joplin piece as used in the Oscar-winning 1973 film The Sting. In fine condition, with an area of thin paper along the top edge above the inscription. Among the seven Oscars The Sting was awarded, Hamlisch won the Academy Award for Best Music for his work on the film.
