DS, signed “Julie Andrews aka Julie Walton,” one page, 8.5 x 3.75, December 27, 1968. Promissory note in which Andrews agrees to pay the United California Bank $250,000 "with interest payable at maturity at the rate of 7.75% per cent per annum from date until paid." Center of note bears a paid stamp dated March 31, 1969. Signed at the conclusion in thick black ink by Andrews, who also adds her married name. Encapsulated in a plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder. In fine condition. Andrews was married to set designer Tony Walton from 1959 until 1967, and likely added the surname to avoid any paperwork confusion.
