Three items deriving from the personal collection of William Shatner: an original brad-bound script for the pilot episode of Dr. Kildare, entitled ‘Twenty-Four Hours,’ 8.5 x 11, 45 pages, dated December 5, 1960, signed on the front cover in black felt tip by Shatner, who despite turning down the role (which went to Richard Chamberlain), appeared as Dr. Carl Noyes in several episodes of the fifth season, just six months before his debut as Captain James T. Kirk; a bottle of Limited Celebrity Edition Heinz ketchup, 10″ tall, with a front label that features a quote from Shatner, “‘Fixes burgers at warp speed’”; and a white cowboy hat signed in black felt tip by numerous attendees of ‘The Shatner Show,’ a 2007 exhibition at Calgary’s Uppercase Gallery that showcased artwork from 77 artists who used Shatner as their subject. Artists include: Doug Fraser, Zina Saunders, Calef Brown, Rick Sealock, Zach Trenholm, Dushan Milic, Martha Rich, and Russell Walks. In overall fine condition.
