King George grants Charles Kelk Blakelock the "licence to wear the Insignia of Chevalier of the Order of Orange Nassau," which had been conferred upon him by the Queen of the Netherlands. Signed at the top by the king. The red embossed seal affixed to the upper left remains intact. In fine condition. This type of royal permission was required for the wearing of foreign decorations in England.
