ADS, one page, 5 x 3, October 2, 1950. Handwritten receipt by Parker, in full: "Oct. 2, 1950, Received Twenty-Five dollars ($25.00) advance, Charlie Parker. (For Doctor)." In fine condition. From the collection of Norman Saks, the world's foremost Charlie Parker collector, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Saks stating that it appears on page 11 of the book Charlie Parker & Jazz Club Memorabilia: The Norman R. Saks Collection by Ken Vail. Also accompanied by a modern unsigned photo of Parker.
