Description

TLS as governor of New York, signed “F. D. R.,” one page, 8 x 10.5, State of New York, Executive Chamber letterhead, November 17, 1930. Letter to prominent Massachusetts lawyer and former Chair of the Federal Reserve Charles Sumner Hamlin, in full: "Many thanks for your mighty nice note. I am looking forward to seeing you and Bertie in Albany during the Christmas Holidays. I am off tonight for three weeks' stay at Warm Springs." In fine condition, with two light diagonal envelope-related stains.
