President Van Buren appoints George Crosman as "Captain in the Sixth Regiment of Infantry in the service of the United States." Signed at the conclusion by President Van Buren and countersigned by Secretary of War Joel Roberts Poinsett. In very good condition, with a missing seal, and overall rippling, toning, and soiling.
