And some notes of observations made to me verbally and put down on paper at my desire, which you may consider at present and return to me when I meet you again, if ever." In fine condition. During this period, Adams and McHenry were working on building up the American armed forces in anticipation of a war with France. An excellent letter boasting a large, bold signature.
