Two items: a TLS signed "Jerry Ford," one page, 6.25 x 8, House of Representatives letterhead, October 27, 1973, addressed to Ken Davidson, the doorkeeper of the House of Representatives, in part: "Thank you most sincerely for your warm message of congratulations on my nomination to be the Vice President of the United States. It is a signal honor, indeed, to be so nominated by the President, and I am extremely grateful and deeply humbled by it. If confirmed, I'll do my utmost to fulfill the responsibilities of the office efficiently and effectively"; and a glossy 8 x 10.25 photo of Ford, signed and inscribed in black felt tip, "To Kenneth Davidson, in appreciation and best wishes, Jerry Ford." Both are affixed to an off-white 20 x 16 cardstock mount. In overall fine condition.
