Description

Elector of the Rhine Palatinate in the Holy Roman Empire from 1610 to 1623, and king of Bohemia from 1619 to 1620, who was nicknamed the 'Winter King' due to his brief reign (1596-1632). Untranslated LS in German, one page, 7.5 x 12.5, December 1616. Matted and framed to an overall size of 11 x 16.5; the backing bears an affixed Goodspeed's Book Shop label. In very good to fine condition, with light dampstaining to the lower right.
