Letter to Anita, in part: "Have you seen the book 'Life & Lillian Gish'—She sent it to Delly—it's a riot—really the most astounding nonsense—how you will enjoy it!!! Have had a very busy time…not feeling well as climate is so bad & can't throw off a series of colds—Nancy is getting married on January 18th & after that I sail for New York—So far there seems no sign of my getting to California but I do hope we meet." In fine condition.
