TLS, one page, 7 x 10.25, personal letterhead, October 8, 1947. Letter to W. H. Kittrell, in full: "Many thanks for sending me the copies of your column and the editorial. I enjoyed them very much. Your Algiers story took me back to those days so completely I could believe we were there yesterday. I'm glad you use the facetious touch on the political angle—I have no intention of getting mixed up in that kind of business." In very good to fine condition, with staple holes to the upper left corner and a crease to the lower left.
