Partly-printed vellum DS as president, signed “J. Q. Adams,” one page, 13.75 x 9, September 1, 1827. President Adams grants John Fry a parcel of land "containing Eighty two acres…of the Lands directed to be sold at Chillicothe." Boldly signed in the lower right by President Adams, and countersigned by Commissioner of the General Land Office George Graham. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains mostly intact. In very good to fine condition, with moderate wrinkling and a stain touching two word of text; Adams's signature is pleasingly bold.
