John Philip Sousa

American composer and conductor (1854–1932) who is best remembered for American military and patriotic marches, including classics like 'The Stars and Stripes Forever,' 'Semper Fidelis,' and 'The Liberty Bell.' Attractive AMQS on an off-white 4 x 2.5 card, signed in black ink, "John Philip Sousa, '99," who pens four bars of music above his signature. In fine condition, with a central vertical fold.
