TLS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, July 15, 1955. Letter to Phil Kerby, editor of Frontier, in part: "Thank you very much for your letter…which became lost in the great pile of mail that accumulated while I was trying to meet a deadline on my book, hence was not acknowledged as soon as it should have been. I. F. Stone's letter was interesting but when a man wants a reply from me he doesn't write me an open letter. I don't like open letters whether they are good or bad." In fine condition.
