American animator, author and illustrator (born 1954) who is best known for his character animation for Walt Disney films like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Tarzan, and Tangled; he is especially well-known as the creator of Ariel. Original felt tip full-length sketch of Ariel from The Little Mermaid on a white 8.75 x 12 cardstock sheet, signed and inscribed in blue felt tip, "To Olivia, with Best Swishes, from Ariel," adding his name and date to the lower corners, "Glen Keane, 1/17/11." In very fine condition.
