Description

Two items: an Apollo 16 Recovery Force cover postmarked on the USS Ticonderoga on the splashdown date of April 27, 1972, signed in ink by John Young, Ken Mattingly, and Charlie Duke; and an official color glossy 10 x 8 red-numbered NASA photo of the Apollo 16 liftoff, signed in black felt tip, "April 16, 1972—Launch to the moon aboard mighty Saturn V Lunar Rocket. Charles M. Duke, Jr., Apollo 16 LMP, 10th Man on the Moon." In overall fine condition. From the collection of aerospace memorabilia specialist Ken Havekotte.
