ALS signed “Van,” one page, 7.25 x 10.5, no date but postmarked February 16, 1968. Letter to guitarist Mick Cox, in full: "I'm glad you like the L. P. I'd almost forgotten its existence. I may be able to make your wedding if certain things come through but at present it's uncool for me to leave New York—but I'll be there in spirit. I won't go into any details but I think it's sufficient to say Bert Berns & Bang was a fucked up bad scene. I hope & pray you understand. I didn't—I do now." In fine condition, with the handwriting a bit light due to poor ink flow. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope, addressed in Morrison's own hand.
