World War II-dated 'Safe Conduct' pass, 5.25 x 8.5, issued by the US Army and bearing two facsimile signatures of Allied Expeditionary Force Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower. The pass bears text in both German and English, and reads: "The German soldier who carries this safe conduct is using it as a sign of his genuine wish to give himself up. He is to be disarmed, to be well looked after, to receive food and medical attention as required, and to be removed from the danger zone as soon as possible." Reverse bears additional directions in German. In fine condition.
