Collection of ten Scientific American checks, 8.5 x 3.5, dated between 1959 and 1960, each endorsed on the reverse by several Nobel Prize winners and notable scientists, including: Glenn T. Seaborg, Harold Urey, George Wald, George Beadle, Bruno Bettelheim, Fred Lawrence Whipple, Wassily Leontief, Willard Libby, Hans Bethe, and William Alfred Fowler. In overall very good to fine condition, with staple holes, occasional tears, and old tape on the Bettelheim check.
