Original graphite profile sketch of New York Mayor Fiorello La Guardia on an off-white 8.25 x 8.75 sheet, signed in the lower right in black felt tip, "Berger, New York, 1945." Includes a TLS from LaGuardia, signed "F. LaGuardia," September 23, 1935, City of New York letterhead, addressed to Frederic R. Coudert, Jr., relating to the celebratory arrival of the Polish steamship 'Pilsudski.' In fine condition, with filing holes to the left side of the letter, and old tape to the corners of the sketch.
