Hector Berlioz

Unfolded envelope, 5.75 x 8.25, postmarked September 3, 1851, signed in French on the top integral address leaf in black ink by Berlioz, who adds return-to-sender instructions. The envelope, addressed to "Monsieur Auguste Berlioz," was mistakenly delivered to the famous composer. In very good to fine condition, with scattered light staining and seal-related paper loss. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
