Well-used wooden single row tambourine with an appealing black paisley design on the head, 10″ in diameter, featuring black-and-white ribbons tied to the thumb hole. Prince used this during rehearsals for his 1986 Parade Tour. In fine condition. From the collection of Prince's assistant Stachia Fiedler and accompanied by a letter of provenance. Fiedler notes that Prince left the tambourine on her desk on his way to a meeting, and then left the offices without retrieving it.
