Flown flag bearing the Shuttle–Mir Program insignia carried aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery during the STS-91 mission, 6 x 4.25, affixed to an 11 x 14 printed certificate presented to Larry L. Kilbourn, reading, in part, “This flag commemorating the Phase 1 Program was flown to the Mir Space Station aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery on mission STS-91, launched June 2, landed June 12, 1998.” Sheet bears two preprinted signatures. The flag is in fine condition, with creasing to the background sheet.
