TLS, one page, 5.25 x 7.5, July 1, 1964. Letter to Stuart Lippner, in full: “Thank you so much for your letter. I am delighted to be able to tell you that ‘Ship of Fools’ seems to be coming along very well. I am enjoying working with Stanley Kramer enormously and with all the other members of a very large cast. I am afraid I cannot send you a portrait of myself as yet as there have been no proper stills taken so far. It is quite lovely here and I am loving it. I don’t think I shall be staying in New York on my way home but it is possible that I shall do a play on Broadway this winter. Every good wish to you.” Double-matted and framed with a portrait of Leigh to an overall size of 17 x 13.25. In fine condition, with a small light stain above the signature. Ship of Fools was Leigh’s final motion picture. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
