Official Cortina 1956 Winter Olympics gold medal winner’s trophy in the form of a two-handled cauldron, cast bronze, measuring approximately 5.5″ tall and 5.5″ across with a weight of 3.3 pounds. The front features the Olympic rings and features the text, “Cortina 1956.” In fine condition. These trophies were presented to winners at medal ceremonies with edelweiss inside, and slightly smaller versions were given to the silver and bronze runners-up.
