Uncommon ANS signed “T. Carlyle,” one page, 4.5 x 7, no date. Written from “Chelsea,” a note to Mr. Dalton, in full: “Call round to night. I wish you to take the sheets to Cott’s in the morning.” The letter is affixed to the half-title page of a Limited Edition’s Club hardcover copy of Sartor Resartus, numbered 41/1500, printed at London’s Curwen Press in 1931, signed on the colophon by the printer Oliver Simon. In fine condition, with old tape on the blank integral sheet. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
