Description

Queen Consort to Edward VII of England (1844–1925) and mother of George V. Wonderful vintage matte-finish 6 x 8 full-length Alice Hughes portrait of Queen Alexandra in her brilliant coronation gown and robe, affixed to the slightly larger original studio mount, signed on the mount in fountain pen, “Alexandra, Coronation day, August 9th, 1902.” In fine condition, with trimmed left edge and light foxing to the mount. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
