The first inauguration of Bill Clinton

Large color semi-glossy 18.5 x 23 photo of Clinton taking the Oath of Office at the US Capitol on January 20, 1993, signed and inscribed on the presentation mat in black felt tip, “To George White—with respect and appreciation for your work for our country, Bill Clinton.” Double-matted and framed to an overall size of 27 x 32. In fine condition, with scattered foxing to the mat. White served as the Architect of the Capitol for nearly twenty-five years, and oversaw the construction of the Library of Congress James Madison Memorial Building, the Hart Senate Office Building, and the restoration of the old Supreme Court and Senate chambers.
