Two invitations for different inaugural balls held in Harrison’s honor: an impressively engraved 7.75 x 8.5 invitation featuring images of Harrison and his cabin, for the ball to be held at the Masonic and Town Halls on March 4, 1841; and a simple 4.5 x 8 invitation for the ball to be held at the Hallowell House on March 4, 1841. In overall very good to fine condition. After giving his infamously lengthy inaugural address, Harrison attended three different inaugural balls. Harrison fell ill shortly thereafter—attributed at the time to bad weather suffered during the inauguration—and he passed away just 31 days later.
