Vintage glossy 10.25 x 8 publicity still of the Three Stooges holding bottles Brighto during production for the episode ‘Dizzy Doctors,’ signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Gus, Sincerely, The 3 Stooges, Moe,” “Larry Fine,” and “Curly.” Collector’s pencil notations on reverse indicate that the signatures were obtained by Gus Hartman, the manager for New Jersey’s Clementon and Stanley Theatres, on May 29, 1938. In fine condition, with scattered surface creases and surface impressions along bottom from notations on reverse. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity from JSA. Obtained during the slapstick trio’s halcyon years at Columbia Pictures, this fully signed portrait exists as a true Stooge scarcity. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
