Grouping of four items related to the architects of the Panama canal, highlighted by a black ink signature, “T. Roosevelt,” on an off-white 4.5 x 2.75 slip clipped from a letter. Also includes a pair of ink signatures and a TLS from chief engineer George Washington Goethals, each signed “Geo. W. Goethals.” In overall very good to fine condition, with creasing and a light block of toning to the Roosevelt signature.
