TLS, one page, 8.5 x 11, personal letterhead, August 2, 1924. Letter to fellow composer Charles Wakefield Cadman, in part: "Your new March 'Arizona' came yesterday and we rehearsed it and I have put it on the program...I hope the public will say it is as good as it is. It doesn't surprise me that you had a Cadman night at Hollywood, and I would be more pleased if you had them where there are more orchestras engaged. I hope your 'Witch of Salem' will be a great success when it is done." In fine condition, with some show-through from notations to reverse. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
