Letter praising a flautist, in part (translated): "I wish you much success in your up-coming tour of performances…I am convinced that the best recommendation for you is that you are equal to the greatest flautists in Germany with your beautiful timbre, your brilliant dexterity, and your noble and expressive delivery. Surely, everywhere you go, spirited recognition and honouring receptions will be yours.” Retains the address leaf accomplished in his own hand.
