Letter to “children,” the esteemed husband-and-wife piano duo of Vronsky and Babin, in full (translated): “The old master cordially thanks you for the beautiful music—masterfully performed, but why no pure German music? Again and again Rachmaninoff or Lutoslawski—never Reger or Pfitzner!!!! I regret it very much, such magic performers and just a little bit of Slavic music!!!!!!!
