ALS, one page, lightly lined, 4.75 x 7.75, personal monogrammed letterhead, September 13, 1870. Written from Bridgeport, a letter to Skinner, in part: “Are you not a ‘Skinner?’ I am glad you ‘skin’ in such a good cause. I yield up the epidermis $1000 north this A. M. (American Museum) towards my centenary subscription as you will find by enclosed check…Ought to commute from N.H. to Boston.” Matted and framed. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
