Fantastic hand-addressed free frank, measuring 8.5 x 7 unfolded, addressed in Nelson’s hand to his sister Catherine, “London March Eighteenth, 1803, Mrs. Matcham, Kensington Place, Nelson & Bronte Bath.” Stamped with a ‘Free’ postmark. In very good condition, with tears, toning, and old adhesive residue, largely not affecting the franked panel itself. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
