Lengthy handwritten legal document

Partial handwritten document by Lincoln, unsigned, one page, 8 x 10, no date. First page of a legal brief in the case of “Caleb Jackson vs. Orson Stafford,” headed “Petition to enforce Mechanic’s lien.” In part: “This day came the parties, and there upon a jury came…and sworn, on their oaths, do say, ‘We the jury find for the plaintiff, and assess his damage at the sum of one hundred and sixty four dollars and seventy cents, and that the same is due for the work on the House…and that the house and lot…be sold and the proceeds of said sale applied to the payment of the Judgement.” Handsomely double-matted and framed with a portrait of Lincoln. In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
