Description

ALS, three pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, February 3, 1895. Letter to his publisher Novello & Co., in part: “In accordance with your suggestions I have removed the ad lib part from the part-songs & have revised the remaining accompts. removing the difficulties: they are now quite easy…Taking into consideration the length and scope of the works, as compared with the former compositions, I should think twelve guineas for the two.” In a postscript, he adds: “I should be so glad if the part song you took for the Musical Times last year might appear very soon: could you tell me when it is likely to come out?” In fine condition. Pre-certified PSA/DNA.
